Emily is a Visual Artist based in Australia. Miss Red specialises in whimsy, unearthing treasure, and if time permits; Mixed media, found object sculpture, mosaic, painting and illustration.
Emily is happy to work on tiny surfaces, and happier still to produce large art work.
Her style is naturally very child-like, reflecting a sense of whimsy and simplicity in her work, with a strong emphasis of looking ‘through the eyes of a child’.
Emily is currently undertaking a community based project; painting suburban sub-stations in Canberra, in turn adding Art to otherwise sterile and uninspiring urban areas.
